This five day workshop provides an introduction to the complex Railway EMC environment and includes; a theoretical background, treatment of Standards, EMC measurements and testing, railway specific EMC topics such as feeding arrangements on AC and DC Railways, immunisation of signalling and telecommunications cables and EMC management plans. The programme consists of 4 days of lectures and demonstrations and a one day practical Workshop at York EMC Services UKAS accredited Testing Laboratory in Castleford.
